Everest Garbage CARAVAN

Since 2016, SPCC is transporting wastes of recyclable values from the Everest Region to Kathmandu for proper treatment at recycling centers in partnership with Tara Air. In this story and video, Nepali Times portrays the whole process from collection of garbage by our staff and local partners in the villages of Everest Region to transportation of non-burnable garbage to Lukla airstrip by zopkyoks and airlifting by Tara Air to Kathmandu, and finally the garbage being properly recycled.
