Khumbu Icefall Route fee assessment committee (MoCTCA, NMA, ESA, TAAN and SPCC) sets fee for Khumbu Icefall Route. As of 2013, every expedition team of Mt Everest, Lhotse and Nuptse should pay a total of US$25000 for route construction in the autumn season, while in spring season each climber has to pay $ 600.
Climbers climbing Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse and Mt. Nuptse can submit their garbage at our SPCC Everest Base Camp office. Climbers climbing Island peak can submit their garbage at SPCC Island Peak Base Camp office. For other mountains and peaks, please submit all your garbages at our Namche or Lukla office.
SPCC head office is located at Namche Bazaar, Solukhumbu, Nepal. We have a branch office at Lukla and seasonal offices at Everest Base Camp and Island Peak Base Camp.
SPCC provides a garbage clearance certificate to expedition groups upon declaration and submission of all burnable and non-burnable garbage at SPCC office. It is required to get the garbage deposit refund from MoCTA or NMA.

All climbers having a permit to climb peaks of the Khumbu Region registered under Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA) are requested to register their permits and declare food lists/equipment through our online registration form https://spcc.org.np/registration-form
All climbers having a permit to climb mountains of the Khumbu Region from Department of Tourism are requested to register their permits and declare food lists/equipment by visiting our office at Namche or Lukla.
